"Aybolit" - the optimal backpack for a military doctor
An ordinary travel backpack can also be adapted for medical purposes. A good tactical backpack will look even better in this role. But all the same, they cannot be compared with the "Aibolit" backpack specially designed for a physician. It will allow you to quickly retrieve the required medicines and rescue equipment, which will give you more time to help the victim.
Aibolit from Stich Profi is a specialized backpack for military doctors and rescuers. This leads to its design, which differs in many respects from conventional tactical, including army-purpose backpacks and pouches.
Made in a classic form, resembling a one-day backpack in volume, "Aibolit" has a significant difference from it: at the top of the backpack there is a loop, by pulling it, you can immediately open it wide, giving access to everything inside. And there the backpack is completely sheathed with Velcro, to which the pouches are attached - two large rectangular ones placed on the back side, one large trapezoidal and a small semicircular one attached to the front part. Two panels with elastic bands are attached to the sidewalls, designed to accommodate skeins of bandages, harnesses and other things like that. In addition to the main one, inside the backpack there is another small additional compartment, closed with a zipper, in which you can store syringes or something else.
The backpack also provides protection for the medic's back: between the detachable back Velcro and the back of the backpack there is a compartment in which an armor plate can be placed.
As for the design features on the outside, first of all, it should be noted that the straps and the back of the backpack are equipped with soft shock-absorbing pads, so that the medic will be less tired when fully loaded.
Front, sides and bottom "Aibolit" is completely stitched with M.O.L.L.E. slings, which allows you to hang additional pouches on it, both medical and any other purpose. Also in the front, using an elastic cord on the backpack with special hooks, you can attach a large compression net.
The lower compartment of the backpack is designed for carrying frameless mobile stretchers.
The manufacturer has provided for three possible ways of carrying a backpack at once:
Behind the back on two straps. The standard method, the disadvantage of which is the need for outside help to retrieve the contents without removing the backpack.
Diagonally behind the back on one strap. One strap detaches and stows away in a special pocket, while the other is attached diagonally. The advantage of this method is the ability to quickly drag the backpack from behind to the stomach and use its contents. But running for a long time with a backpack fixed in this way is somewhat inconvenient.
Back worn on body armor or harness. For fastening, you need to put both straps into special pockets, and release the slings at the top and bottom, with which the "Aibolit" is attached. Due to the distribution of the weight of the backpack over the body armor, it is convenient to carry it in this way, but here you will also need the help of a partner to access the contents.
